STANDARD MOUNTING:
Standard mounting for the C-700-D is a heavy-duty, CAT® Series 330EL, 23.5 in. (600 mm) wide Triple Grouser Type with 3 point oscillating suspension and a two speed hydraulically driven tram.
PULLDOWN SYSTEM:
Up to 60,000 lb. (27,216 kg) bit loading capacity with a maximum of rated pulldown of 50,000 lb. (22,680 kg), 30,000 lb. (13,608 kg) hoist capacity. Maximum hoist rate 250 fpm (76 m/pm). Maximum feed rate 127 fpm (39 m/pm). REGEN increases feed rate to 260 fpm (79 m/min). Chains: Two heavy duty roller chains 2 in. (51 mm) pitch. Stroke: 34 ft. (10.4 m) for 30 ft. (9.14 m) drill pipe. 12 in. (305 mm) table opening.
ROTARY HEAD:
Dual motor, 0 to 141 rpm at 114,390 lbs-in (12,926 Nm) torque. (Based on 100% efficiency). Equipped with nylon guide shoes. Optional speeds and torques available.
AIR COMPRESSOR:
1070 CFM (30.3 m3/min) @ 125 PSI (8.6 Bar) with an Air Pressure Regulator is standard. Synthetic PAO, ISO 32 compressor oil is provided. MAST:
Heavy duty structural steel mast with angular stress members and steel plated reinforcement at high stress areas, total length 40 ft. (12.2 m), raised and lowered by two 6.5 in. (165 mm) diameter hydraulic cylinders equipped with safety counterbalance valves. Hydraulic powered mast lock pins are provided as standard equipment. Extended mast option available.
LEVELING JACKS:
The C-700-D utilizes three (3) leveling jacks, 2 rear 5 in. (127 mm) bore x 48 in. (1.2 m) stroke, 1 front 6.5 in. (169 mm) bore x 48 in. (1.2 m) stroke with built-in safety checks.
DRILL PIPE HANDLING:
The standard C-700-D is equipped with a 4 + 1 hydraulic indexing barrel loader to handle 30 ft. (9.1 m) drill pipe, 5 in. (127 mm) to 7 in. (178 mm) diameter. Hydraulic breakout and power tong system are standard. Also included is a 2,200 lb. (998 kg) fixed-over-hole winch for pipe handling.
AIR FILTERS:
Individual
heavy duty two stage dry type filters with a pre-cleaner for engine and compressor.
NIGHT LIGHTING:
A combination of Xenon HID and H
alogen flood lights for viewing upper mast, table, power unit and deck are provided.
OPERATOR’S CAB:
Large isolated angled operator’s cab and control station allows operator to face drill table. Air conditioning, sound abatement, and cab pressurization are provided as standard.
