STANDARD MOUNTING:
Standard mounting for the T-650-W LEGEND 6 is a heavy-duty, three axle truck with 20,000 lb. (9,072 kg) front, 46,000 lb. (20,865 kg) rear axles, and 485 HP (362 kW) diesel engine, and 10 speed transmission. Optional 23,000 lb. (10,433 kg) front axle may be required for casing hammer applications.
HOIST and PULLDOWN SYSTEM:
Standard rated hoisting capacity of 55,000 lb. (24,948 kg), 30,000 lb. (13,608 kg) pulldown. Optional extra heavy hoisting capacity of 70,000 lb. (31,751 kg) available. MAST:
Heavy duty structural steel mast with angular stress members an steel plated reinforcement at high stress areas, total length 34 ft. (10.4 m) for 28 ft. (8.5 m) stroke, and is raised and lowered by two 5.5 in. (140 mm) diameter hydraulic cylinders equipped with safety counterbalance valves.
LEVELING JACKS:
The T-650-W LEGEND 6 utilizes three (3) leveling jacks with 7 in. (178 mm) jack support boots and integral safety check valves. 2 rear jacks are 5 in. (127 mm) bore x 36 in. (914 mm), single front jack is 5 in. (127 mm) bore x 48 in. (1.2 m) stroke.
DRILL PIPE HANDLING:
The T-650-W LEGEND 6 is standard equipped with a 9 pod loader for 4 in. (102 mm) or 4.5 in. (114 mm) x 20 ft. (6.1 m) pin up REICHdrill style drill pipe. Loader is equipped with hydraulic indexing and auto lock feature. A hydraulically operated holding wrench with hydraulic lift and a hydraulic breakout wrench are also provided. An 8,500 lb. (3,855 kg) hydraulic winch, with a 270° hydraulic swing and extendable jib boom is included. A wireless radio remote is provided to aid in drill pipe handling to control the functions of jib swing, retract & extend, winch up & 2 speed down, and loader index.
PIPE RACK: For carrying 18 pieces of 4 in. (102 mm) or 15 pieces of 4.5 in. (114 mm) drill pipe.
AIR FILTERS: Individual heavy duty two stage dry type filters with a pre-cleaner for engine and compressor.
NIGHT LIGHTING: Four (4) shock mounted halogen flood lights for viewing deck, mast, and drilling areas.
OPERATOR’S STATION:
Mounted on the right rear side of the drill and ergonomically designed for maximum efficiency. All drilling controls and operational gauges are located in this area. An operator’s platform is also included. The T-650-W LEGEND 6 control system utilizes pressure compensated variable speed rotation and hoist/feed control valves. Direction and flow are controlled by one lever. Accessory functions are controlled via manual directional control valves with the water injection and winch controls on independent (isolated) hydraulic circuits.
