STANDARD MOUNTING:
Standard mounting for the T-650-W LEGEND 3 is a heavy-duty, three axle truck with 20,000 lb. (9,072 kg) front, 46,000 lb. (20,865 kg) rear axles, and 485 HP (362 kW) diesel engine, and 10 speed transmission.
HOIST and PULLDOWN SYSTEM:
Maximum of rated hoisting capacity of 28,000 lb. (12,700 kg), 15,500 lb. (7,030 kg) pulldown. Maximum hoist rate 237 fpm (72 m/pm). Maximum feed rate 275 fpm (84 m/pm). Chain: Single heavy duty roller chain 1.75 in. (44 mm) pitch. Stroke: 24 ft. (7.3 m) for 20 ft. (6.1 m) drill pipe. Optional 28 ft. (8.7 m) stroke available. 16 in. (406 mm) table opening.
ROTARY HEAD:

MAST:
Heavy duty 10 in. (254 mm) wide flange steel beam mast, total length 30.5 ft. (9.3 m) for 24 ft. (7.3 m) stroke, and is raised and lowered by two 4.5 in. (114 mm) diameter hydraulic cylinders equipped with safety counterbalance valves. An optional mast for 28 ft. (8.6 m) stroke is available .
LEVELING JACKS:
The T-650-W LEGEND 3 utilizes three (3) leveling jacks with integral safety check valves. 2 rear jacks are 4 in. (102 mm) bore x 36 in. (914 mm), single front jack is 5 in. (127 mm) bore x 48 in. (1.2 m) stroke.
DRILL PIPE HANDLING:
The T-650-W LEGEND 3 is standard equipped with a 7 pod loader for 3.5 in. (89 mm) x 20 ft. (6.1 m) pin down REICHdrill PD style drill pipe. Loader is equipped with hydraulic indexing and auto lock feature. A hydraulically operated holding wrench with hydraulic lift and a hydraulic breakout wrench are also provided. An 8,500 lb. (3,855 kg) hydraulic winch, with a 270° hydraulic swing and extendable jib boom is included. A wireless radio remote is provided to aid in drill pipe handling to control the functions of jib swing, retract & extend, winch up & 2 speed down, and loader index. Optional 6 pod loader for 4 in. (102 mm) x 20 ft. (6.1 m) pin up REICHdrill style drill pipe is available.
PIPE RACK: For carrying 24 pieces of 3.5 in. (89 mm) or 18 pieces of 4 in. (102 mm) drill pipe.
AIR FILTERS: Individual heavy duty two stage dry type filters with a pre-cleaner for engine and compressor.
NIGHT LIGHTING: Four (4) shock mounted halogen flood lights for viewing deck, mast, and drilling areas.
OPERATOR’S STATION: Mounted on the right rear side of the drill and ergonomically designed for maximum efficiency. All drilling controls and operational gauges are located in this area. An operator’s platform is also included. The T-650-W LEGEND 3 control system utilizes pressure compensated variable speed rotation and hoist/feed control valves. Direction and flow are controlled by one lever. Accessory functions are controlled via manual directional control valves with the water injection and winch controls on independent (isolated) hydraulic circuits.
