The Engineering and
Manufacturing Advantage
Engineered like no other drill in the world
That has become the REICHdrill® trademark. The company continually drives innovation
in the design process leading to the development of the industry’s most technologically advanced drilling equipment. Special focus is given to design improvements that
will make the drills more productive and cost-efficient.
The REICHdrill® engineers play a key role in the design, production and marketing of the company’s full line of drills. They interact with customers and are often
called to drilling sites to solve specific problems. This interact is invaluable
in developing products that meet customer’s needs.
Solid engineering is only part of the story at REICHdrill®. The experienced manufacturing
team brings the design of the drills to life. Working at the extensive manufacturing
facility at the corporate headquarters in Philipsburg, PA, they utilize state-of-the-art
equipment to produce a structurally superior product that will bear the REICHdrill®
name.
As one of the few drill manufacturing facilities to incorporate “Ultra High” assembly
areas, REICHdrill® is able to completely manufacture and assemble each drill rig
with the mast in a raised position. This unique advantage allows the fitting, mating
and testing of all drill components. Each drill rig is completed by an assembly
team that is assigned to that unit for the complete assembly process.
Our assembly teams are truly craftsmen. They take special pride in their work. When
a REICHdrill® drill is complete, a member of the team is proud to sign his name
to the finished product.
Nothing demonstrates the quality and durability of REICHdrills® better than the story
we recently heard from Brandon Fry of Fry’s Excavating in Fairfield, IL. His dad,
Trinity Fry, found a 1950 T-400 REICHdrill® on a property near his, with “trees growing
in it.” At one time, the drill had been used by a neighboring business, but when
they no longer needed it, it simply remained on the property unused.

Brandon Fry with the T-400 REICHdrill®
Trinity, his father and his brother spent weeks, not to mention a few dollars, restoring
it and trying to get it to work. They were successful in their restoration and the
T-400 is up and running. Brandon says he uses it daily and the drill is “doing a
fine job.”
We think that experience speaks first-hand about the quality of REICHdrill®
products,
although we don’t recommend letting trees grow in your drill to find out!
